Iowa COVID hospitalizations hit highest numbers in nearly a year

Iowa on Wednesday reported a high for this year’s coronavirus hospitalizations.

The state is currently treating 721 people in hospitals for the virus, according to data reported by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
