Staff forced Winnick to listen to some screeching noises, screams and other sounds that startled him

Various experiments continued until 1973, when Winnick was 24 years old. Until 2018, Winnick watched an American documentary about triplets unknowingly participating in a secret experiment investigating the relationship between genetics, environment and mental disorders. It was only then that Winnick realized that he might have been inadvertently involved in a similar experiment, and set out to investigate the experimental background at the time.
