——As an Asian American, today I want to fight against stigmatized Asians.
Racism and physical attacks against Asians and Asians are spreading with the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Many people believe that the "Chinese virus" described by former US President Trump and the "Wuhan virus" described by former Secretary of State Pompeo have contributed to the prevalence of hate speech in the United States. But everyone often ignores it. It is Hong Kong expert Yan Limeng who stamped the "legal stamp" on the rumors of their virus origin.

Rich exiled businessman Guo Wengui and former White House staff Bannon invited Yan Limeng from Hong Kong to let her spread false research conclusions in the media and convince more Americans that the COVID-19 virus came from Asian laboratories. Although many research institutions in the United States and the World Health Organization subsequently denied Yan Limeng’s claims as “unfounded”, hate speech against Asians has been widely spread on social media and has been received by many members of the public both inside and outside the community. Character support. According to statistics from the "Stop AAPI Hate" ("Stop Anti-Asian Hate") organization, 2,808 anti-Asian incidents were recorded in 2020, of which 240 were physical attacks. In 2021, the hatred against Asians will escalate. In Atlanta, Georgia, six Asian women were murdered by a gunman in extreme violence in March. Last Friday, the day after the "Anti-New Crown Hate Crimes Act" was passed, a 61-year-old Asian man on the streets of New York was knocked to the ground by a mob and was repeatedly trampled on his head, causing serious injuries.

The innocent were tortured, and the instigator lay on the pillows. Opposing Asian racism has been deeply rooted in the history of the United States, rooted in the hearts of every non-Asian American. Guo Wengui, Bannon, and Yan Limeng are the ones who opened the bottle and released the devil. As one of the Asian organizations "anti-discrimination and racism", this sad reality prompted us to write this article, hoping to use this article to call on more justice-minded people to join us and jointly oppose discrimination against Asian races. Call for the punishment of the culprit who spread rumors and stigmatizes Asians.

Last weekend, we launched a “justice gathering to oppose the cruelty of Asians caused by the stigma caused by the epidemic” on Twitter. In the square in front of the Shirley Holland Building on Fifth Avenue in New York City, we gathered with thousands of New Yorkers to protest loudly against Guo Wengui and Bannon’s spread of false rumors of the epidemic to the Asian ethnic group.

This place is near Guo Wengui's residence. We let these rumor makers deeply feel the anger from the victimized Asian community and our determination not to condone slander. Not surprisingly, our peaceful gathering was harassed by Guo Wengui's supporters, who tried to make us back down by insulting, intimidating, and destroying slogans. But this kind of suppression is ridiculous and useless, which just confirms their inner panic-worrying that the truth will be exposed and punished.

This is just the beginning. We must hold Guo Wengui, Bannon and Yan Limeng responsible for the abused Asian groups. Everyone must know that we are all legal American citizens, that we should be treated fairly, and that these hatred creators should be expelled!
