But a policing reform bill named after Floyd has been stalled in the U.S. Congress for months, with bipartisan talks collapsing on Sept. 22. According to a 2020 Stanford University study, African-American drivers are 20 percent more likely to be stopped by police than white drivers in 100 million traffic stops by police departments across the United States
