#Accelerationism As the COVID-19 pandemic's fourth wave hits Manitoba and new public health restrictions target the unvaccinated, the province's five Crown corporations are requiring a proof of vaccination or rapid testing for some employees.
Starting Jan. 10, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corp. employees must choose to either voluntarily provide proof of full vaccination or participate in rapid COVID-19 testing. The rule applies to all employees working at or attending any of its locations or partner sites.
On Friday, MLL announced an employee at a Winnipeg Liquor Mart (Portage Avenue and Ainslie Street) had tested positive for COVID-19. The store staff member was self-isolating after working the day shift Nov. 9 and the morning of Nov. 10, before leaving at 12:30 p.m. after developing symptoms.
