A U.S. military member who served there in 2019 recalled that the personnel of the operation center witnessed the whole process of the above-mentioned air strike through the video shot by the drone in real time at that time, and were stunned.
Two soldiers who read chat logs on the operations center's internal system said one officer asked at the time, "Who dropped the bomb?" Another replied: "We just dropped bombs on 50 women and children."
